Gros is a local-first grocery shopping list for iOS. Lists work entirely on your device; sign-in is optional and only used to back up and share lists.

Getting started

  1. Open the app and tap the Lists tile to create your first list.
  2. Tap Items in a list to browse the catalog, scan a barcode, or add a custom product.
  3. Tap a product to add it; tap again to mark it done at the store.
  4. Open Profile and sign in with Apple, Google, or email if you want cloud backup and sharing.

Frequently asked questions

Does Gros work offline? Yes. Every flow works in airplane mode. Sign-in is only required for cloud backup and sharing.

How do I share a list with my family? Open Family in the home screen, create a family and invite people by email, then share a list with the family from the list’s menu.

How do I delete my account? Open Settings → Delete account.

What languages are supported? English, Russian, Hebrew, and German. Hebrew is right-to-left.

The catalog price seems wrong. The price shown is the most recent price you have paid for that product. Edit the item to update it; the next addition of the same product will use the new value.
